Huntingdon; SCBI 13-Copenhagen: 1272; See BNJ 69, plate.7, coin 164; dies Bc [3], this coin, the sole type for this moneyer, only one other specimen believed known outside of museum collections. See Eaglen BNJ 69(1999), page 168, coin 164.

Possibly ex Roth 19 July 1917, Lot 85f (ex City Hoard) and Drabble 4 July 1939, Lot 526b.  These may be the same coin. Freeman records five coins but quite possibly Roth and Drabble are the same.

 

 

Stamford; See English Coins in the British Museum, v.2, page 424, coin 1151 for a possible die match. This coin originally attributed to Sandwich but re-allocated by Dolley to Stamford in 1956 (See BNJ XXVIII p59).

Sudbury; Mint unrecorded for this type until this hoard was discovered. Four coins from the mint were in the hoard, two cut halfs and two complete coins, one of which is this coin. All four coins were struck from the same dies.
